The PCC, along with IQVIA, have redeveloped the genomic testing cost calculator to incorporate testing costs in USD.

Modified genomic testing cost calculator based on clinically actionable genomic alterations identified in the (ESMO) Scale for Clinical Actionability of Molecular Targets (ESCAT), now available for FREE download

Biomarker diagnostic technologies, including next-generation sequencing (NGS) testing and sequential single-gene testing (SGT), have promoted the growth of precision oncology and its application for many disease states.

NGS is a diagnostic technology that rapidly sequences DNA and simultaneously tests for multiple genetic anomalies. NGS offers advantages over sequential SGT by providing faster results and may be more cost-effective overall.

Genomic Testing Cost Calculator Update 2025

The PCC, along with IQVIA have updated the Genomic Testing Cost Calculator to include additional actional biomarkers as well as to incorporate testing costs not only in Euros but also in USD to reflect 2024 costs.

  • The new genomic testing cost calculator will enable you to compare the cost-effectiveness of different genomic testing approaches, such as NGS, compared to single gene sequential testing
  • The new calculator is free to download and can help demonstrate the case for using NGS testing over sequential SGT in both the EU, and now the USA.
